Safety & reporting policy

Wava is a user-generated content (UGC) platform. We apply zero tolerance toward child sexual exploitation (CSAM), terrorism, and extreme violence / gore. Sexual content between consenting adults is allowed in private conversation only.

1. How to report

In the app: profile or conversation → Report → choose a reason (including “Child exploitation”).
By email: abuse@wava.world (illegal content) or support@wava.world (other).
Include the account identifier, a description and a screenshot if possible.

2. Handling SLAs

  • Critical reports (CSAM, terrorism): human review within 24 hours.
  • Other reports: review within 72 hours.

3. Moderation actions

Depending on severity: warning, content removal, suspension or permanent ban. Confirmed or automatically detected CSAM: immediate ban and evidence hold for authorities.

4. Reporting to authorities

France / EU: offences against minors are reported via official channels including Pharos (internet-signalement.gouv.fr) and/or law enforcement.
United States / international: NCMEC CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) when applicable.

5. Evidence retention

During an evidence hold, the account cannot self-delete. Relevant data is kept as legally required, then purged.

6. False reports

Abusive or bad-faith repeated reports may lead to sanctions.
